This spread was an independent project for my Editorial class. I chose an interview with Katy Perry that already existed and used her personality, music, and persona as an inspiration for this spread. The bright colors and movement of the shapes are have the “California Dream” spirit that is evident in the pictures from the photoshoot used in this spread.
